Lazaroo – Sunday, October 31, 2009
Oct 31, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with outrageous faith:
“Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.”
(2 Corinthians 1:9)
This is what I love about following You, Jesus.
I can be absolutely, 100% honest.
In fact, You won’t tolerate anything less.
You want me to lay it out there before You, exactly as it is –
no glossed-over illusion
no PC correctness
no shaded truth
no malarkey
no baloney
no spin
If I’m angry, I say so.
If I’m scared, I admit it.
If I’ve sinned, I confess it.
If I’m full of doubt, I fess up.
If the prognosis is bleak, I face it.
If I’m battling temptation, I tell You.
But I’m not stuck with what is.
You’re the God of the impossible.
The worse the odds
the better You look
when You deliver my miracle.
