Lazaroo – Sunday, September 11, 2011
Sep 11, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in holy wonder:
“…the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”
(Genesis 2:7)
Without Your breath in me, Jesus…
I have no life.
The first time Your breath entered me
I experienced physical life.
But You breathed into me again…
when I placed my faith in You.
In that moment You became my Savior, my LORD, my God!
I received Your Spirit
Your very Presence
eternal life.
But just as You brought me into this world
You can take me out –
anytime You wish.
You have only to remove Your breath of life from my lungs.
The thought of that moment scares me
and thrills me
knowing that the next breath I take
will fill the lungs of my new body
with the clean, sweet air
of heaven.
