There are some people I really want to see, Jesus –

the people I love
those I’d like to get to know
a few who are famous

When we’ve been apart and I’m about to reconnect with someone I love

my heart pounds in anticipation.

Though different…

I’m sure something similar would happen
if I was about to see someone I’ve long wanted to meet.

But none of that compares to that great day when I finally get to see

You.
