Lazaroo – Thursday, August 26, 2010

Aug 26, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with His peace that surpasses all understanding:

“…we despaired even of life.”
(2 Corinthians 1:8)

But that’s okay, isn’t it, Jesus?

Because I’m trusting You alone as my Savior and LORD…

even when I despair of life here…

I can look forward to eternal life there.

In fact, when I arrive at my last day on this earth –

the day You ordained for me before I drew my first breath –

I won’t be leaving home

I’ll be coming home.

It may be a day of sorrow for those I leave behind

but it will be a day of ecstatic joy for me.

My last day on this earth may be painful here

but it will be the last pain I ever experience.

My worst day in heaven

will far surpass the best day I ever knew on earth.

Because You live in me

the wasp of death has lost its stinger.
