Aug 04, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with fear-conquering faith:
“…they returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town…”
(Ezra 2:1)
They say “You can’t go home again,” Jesus
but that’s exactly what You enabled these exiles to do.
You know, this may be one of my favorite things about You!
You aren’t limited by what “everybody knows.”
Since I belong to You, neither am I.
You aren’t tied down to, “We’ve always done it that way.”
Since I belong to You, neither am I.
You aren’t intimidated by, “We’ve never done it that way.”
Since I belong to You, neither am I.
You don’t need a popularity vote to act.
Since I belong to You, neither do I.
You’re not limited by how much money’s in the bank
Since I belong to You, neither am I.
Your hands aren’t bound by any other force in the universe.
Since I belong to You…
neither are mine.
