Lazaroo – Thursday, December 1, 2011
Dec 01, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Cling tightly to Your God, as You pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“…where you stay I will stay…”
(Ruth 1:16)
Sometimes it gets tough where I am, Jesus –
living where I live
doing what I’m doing
facing problem after problem
putting up with the same irritating people.
I’m sick to death of same old/same old
breathing this same stale air.
Emotionally, I’m ready for a change.
Something’s got to change!
I long for a change of scenery
a new set of opportunities.
Somebody said to keep doing the same old thing
and expecting things to change is insanity.
I heard that.
So get me out of here –
out of this prison cell
out of these impossible circumstances
out of this dead-end place.
I’m ready to move on.
Except…
not without You.
If for any reason You won’t go with me
I’m not going.
I may not like being stuck where I am
but one thing’s for sure:
I’m stuck on You.
