Lazaroo – Thursday, February 11, 2010
Feb 11, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with over-the-top adoration:
“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!”
(Galatians 1:8)
At first glance, that prayer seems pretty harsh, Jesus.
Eternal condemnation is as bad as it gets.
But on second thought, that’s exactly what’s at stake, isn’t it?
You are the only way to heaven.
Anyone who points to anyone or anything else
is pointing people in the wrong direction.
Any direction other than heaven
is hell
eternal condemnation.
Your gospel is unlike any other assignment I’ve ever been given.
It’s unlike any other assignment anyone has ever been given!
Judges, doctors, soldiers and Presidents
deal with the heaviest issues on earth
life and death.
But the stakes involved with Your gospel are infinitely greater
eternal life and death.
Oh, Jesus!
Help me faithfully point everyone I meet
straight to You.
