Lazaroo – Thursday, January 30, 2014
Jan 30, 2014 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in marveling trust:
“The leader of the families of the Gershonites was Eliasaph son of Lael.”
(Numbers 3:24)
There has to be a leader, doesn’t there, Jesus?
That’s just the way You’ve created us:
with a built-in need
for a leader.
It’s interesting, though:
The leader You choose isn’t necessarily the
smartest
holiest
most likeable.
That’s usually the kind of person we want to lead us
but its not always Your choice.
You’re the one who parcels out that mysterious gift of leadership
then plants Your often unexpected vision
in that leader’s heart.
