I’ve spent a lot of time here, Jesus –

speculating: “Perhaps the reason…”

I don’t like it much.

I’d rather know the reason
than guess it.

It’s comforting to realize You know precisely why…
frustrating to acknowledge You’ve chosen not to reveal it to me

yet.

One day I’ll know, won’t I?

In Your way.
In Your time.

That requires me to learn to trust You with it –

which, I would imagine,
is the whole point.

Meanwhile, I’ll keep trying to figure it out

knowing all the time
I could be 100 % wrong.
