Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in total awe:

 

“This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus…”
(2 Timothy 1:9-10)

How often do You do this, Jesus –

determine something farther in advance
than any human could imagine –

then only years…centuries…millennia…eons later reveal it

in Your perfect time?

Do You see it all – down to the minutest detail – before the creation of time?

You’re above time
without limits

so that’s entirely possible…

but probably not in the way I or anyone else on earth thinks of it.

Not even the wisest among us

is capable of grasping the full measure of Your grandeur.

So how is it that I get to spend all this time

in private conversation with You?

Of all the reasons I worship You…

Your outrageous love

for a nobody like me

stuns me most.
