What a moment, Jesus.

You had paraded before Adam a steady stream of animals.
He had been naming them day after day.

I’m sure he found it fascinating…
but not one of them was like him.

When he saw that each animal had a mate
that had to make him feel…lonely.

But You took care of that, didn’t You?

You had a plan –
as You always do –

to fulfill every longing of my heart.
