Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in stunned realization:

“…the women exclaimed, ‘Can this be Naomi?’”
(Ruth 1:19)

I’d give anything if people would one day say that about me, Jesus.

To think that You would so transform me

so clean up my sinful behaviors
so indwell me with Your Holy Spirit
so enable me to accomplish Your assignments
so fulfill Your highest purposes for me

that I would be nearly unrecognizable
to those who knew me back in the day!

I know You have the power to do that.

You’ve done it for others –

I’ve read about them in the Bible
heard similar  testimonies in my time.

Why wouldn’t You do that for me?

I say, “I’d give anything” to see that happen…

…but would I?

Something deep within me –

maybe it’s Someone deep within me – whispers:

“If you really did give everything to see that happen…

you would.”
