“Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.”
(Hosea 2:18)

What a day that will be, Jesus!

To know when I lay down my head at night
no one is going to try to attack me in my sleep

that every member of my family is safe
that Your people worldwide are safe

no more death and imprisonment
for preaching the gospel

no more tearful goodbyes
as young people are marched off to war.

But that day is not yet.
So until then…

I must prepare myself
to fight.
