Lazaroo – Thursday, October 31, 2013

Oct 31, 2013 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with growing discernment:

“I hope to…talk with you face to face.”
(2 John 2:12)

That’s how I’d love to talk with You, Jesus –

Face to face.

One day I will, won’t I?

What a day that will be!

But until then…

I’m left with the faces around me
and they’re left with mine.

It’s hard to see You in some of their faces

much easier in others.

But You’re in all of them, aren’t You? –

even the most sinful –
because You’re the Creator of us all.

O God!

May my devotion to You deepen
so that when others look into my face

they see You.

What a great prayer. I just printed it and will remember it. This will be my go to prayer when I get upset with someone or get disappointed. It is a great reminder that we are all human, make mistakes, not perfect and sometimes very ugly on the inside. Yet we are all made by God. We are all his hands and we are all his heart. What a great blessing we have, each others faces, that is the reminder of what God wants us and needs us to see. His light in all of us, for HIm and by Him.
    Good Stuff, I love it.
