Lazaroo – Thursday, September 16, 2010
Sep 16, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with full-on passion:
“Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.”
(Psalms 2:8)
I’m asking, Jesus.
I want the nations
because You do.
You created them.
You gave them life.
They belong to You.
You made them so You would be able to enjoy them…and one day they would be able to enjoy You.
I enjoy them, too!
I love the amazing variety of their
clothing
customs
skin color
body features.
All the nations started with one language.
But now – thanks to You – there are nearly 7,000 languages
each of which desperately needs to hear Your gospel
in its own tongue.
They’ve served gods of wood, ivory, stone
power, money and prestige
too long.
One moment is too long.
It’s time You took them back
and I’m ready and eager
for You to use me
to do it.
