Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with blazing courage:

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…”
(Romans 1:16)

I’m not ashamed of You, Jesus.

Not ashamed to confess that in spite of all the good deeds I try to do…

I cannot save myself.

Not ashamed to tell people You died on the cross for my sins

and theirs.

Not ashamed to declare You are the way, the truth and the life –

that no one makes it to God or heaven apart from You.

Not ashamed –

to urge people to put their trust in You alone for their salvation
to stake everything on the truth of Your Word
to admit I can’t do this – any of it – without You.

I. Am. Not. Ashamed!

So on that day when I stand before You in heaven

You won’t be ashamed to admit –

You know me.
