Lazaroo – Thursday, September 4, 2014
Sep 04, 2014 I Lazaroo.
Be at peace, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“Surely you remember, brothers, our toil and hardship…”
(1 Thessalonians 2:9)
Well, I might think they would, Jesus…
but I’ll bet most of them didn’t.
In fact, my guess is that’s why Paul was reminding them –
because You were gently letting him know they had forgotten.
That’s a tough reality to face, LORD.
When I make sacrifice after sacrifice for those I love
I’d like to think they notice
and will always remember.
But that’s not usually the way it works.
There is one who notices and remembers, though –
You.
And in the end…
that’s all that matters.
