Sometimes You deliberately keep me in the dark, Jesus –

for my own good.

But at other times – like now – You nail the very day.

The ninth month You’re referring to is Kislev.

This year 24 Kislev falls on my December 22^nd.
Last year it fell on my December 2^nd.

That’s because the Jewish calendar is lunar
and my western calendar is solar.

But all time

belongs solely to You.
