Lazaroo – Tuesday, August 13, 2013
Aug 13, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with renewed determination:
“In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.”
(Job 2:10)
That’s pretty amazing, Jesus.
It’s much easier to avoid committing
murder
rape
armed robbery.
But not sinning in what I say?
Nothing short of miraculous.
Uhhh…LORD?
That happens to be a miracle I need.
Now.
There’s an old saying: “Loose lips sink ships.”
Tell me about it.
How many times have I done so well through an entire conversation…
except for one tiny slip of the tongue
that ended up sinking somebody’s boat?
I need Your help, here, LORD.
Desperately.
My guess is I’ll do better controlling my tongue…
if I keep a tighter grip on my thoughts.
