What can wash away my sin?

Nothing but Your blood, Jesus.

What can make me whole again?

Oh, Jesus.

Nothing but Your blood.

Not my hard work.
Not the money I give.
Not the prayers I pray.
Not the sacrifices I make.
Not the traditions I observe.

Nothing but Your blood.

My society doesn’t want to hear it. The very mention of Your blood

repels them
offends them
makes them wince.

They think Your blood is

old-fashioned
unnecessary
gruesome.

But to me Your blood is

Life
Love
Hope
Mercy
Rescue
Restoration
Forgiveness

My only escape from hell.
My only way to heaven.

Oh, precious is the flow

That makes me white as snow

No other fount I know

Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
