Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with bottomless trust:

“He has handed me over to those I cannot withstand.”
(Lamentations 1:14)

It’s one thing to find myself in a fight, Jesus –

quite another to realize I’m in a fight I can’t win.

That’s what Jeremiah is saying You did to him.

I could understand it if he was an evil person.
But he wasn’t!

He was Your prophet
doing exactly what You told him to do.

When he wrote this, he thought he was in an unwinnable fight.

But he was wrong.
Years later…he came out on top.

Help me remember, LORD:

No matter how bad it feels at the time
If I stay true to You…

In the end
I win.
