That’s who I want to be, Jesus!
When something good happens
I want to be a person who praises You on the spot
when we’re alone together
when I’m around others.
May I be a person who faithfully gives You praise
even in front of those who don’t believe in You
knowing that my witness to Your goodness
is one of the ways You love to show Yourself to them.
But in my zeal to give You praise
enable me to do so with gentleness and respect.
