Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in utter trust:

“All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet.”
(Matthew 1:22)

We’re not used to this, Jesus.

Normally, when human beings make a prediction, we take it with a grain of salt

even when they’re sincere
even when they’re very smart
even when some of their other predictions have come true.

The thing is, human beings are…well…

human.

Even when we are focused, highly-motivated and well-intentioned

we make mistakes.

But the prophets You have anointed and identified in the Bible are different.

They were human, all right – as susceptible to sin and error as the rest of us –

except when You gave them Your message
and they faithfully, accurately delivered it.

In that case, they weren’t guessing.

They were delivering the truth they received directly from You.

And I can safely stake my life on it.
