Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in hallowed awe:

“‘The wicked will have only heaps of rubble when I cut off man from the face of the earth,’ declares the LORD.”
(Zephaniah 1:3)

I believe You when You tell me that day will arrive, Jesus.

But it’s not here yet.

And it’s been a long time coming.

It’s hard to stand back and watch while cheaters gleefully race past those of us who play by the rules, forcing us to eat their dust.

It galls me to see the people who profane Your Name become rich, powerful and famous.

How long, LORD?

When will we finally see good people rewarded and bad people punished?

Why do You delay?

Unless…

…You’re allowing me enough time to make sure I’m in the first group

and out of the other.
