Lazaroo – Tuesday, July 9, 2013
Jul 09, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in holy wonder:
“‘I am a great king,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and my name is to be feared among the nations.’”
(Malachi 1:14)
It’s one thing when I try to guess how You want me to regard You, Jesus.
I read Your Word, experience You in my daily life
draw conclusions about who You are –
Your ways
methods
desires
Personality.
All those observations
help me decide how to talk to other people about You.
But it’s a totally different thing when You point blank inform me
of how You want me to present You to others.
In this passage, You’ve made it crystal clear:
You want to be recognized as a great king
who is to be feared among the nations.
Okay.
Got it.
While I’m telling others how loving You are
may I never do so
in a way that makes them think
they can take it
or leave it.
