Pray this Lazaroo with bottomless trust:

“…you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable…”
(1 Peter 1:23)

I know well this perishable seed, Jesus.

I’m truly grateful!
Thank You for giving me life!

But the perishable has its drawbacks.

There’s so much I wish I could do, but can’t.

Not to mention that other thing hanging over my head –

the specter of decline, sickness, death.

So by faith I await that moment

when the perishable
will be defeated by the imperishable.
