Lazaroo – Tuesday, September 24, 2013
Sep 24, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Ask God for Biblical perspective, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“Now, then, please swear to me by the LORD that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you.”
(Joshua 2:12)
This prostitute was pretty bold, wasn’t she, Jesus?
Her life for theirs.
When they conquered her city she asked only one thing:
In return for hiding Joshua’s two spies
they repay her by sparing her family.
The two spies escaped and reported to Joshua the promise they made.
To a prostitute.
Joshua honored a promise that wasn’t even his
not knowing that Rahab the prostitute
would one day become a great-grandmother
to You.
