Lazaroo – Wednesday, April 3, 2013
Apr 03, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in new dimensions of trust:
“His wife said to him, ‘Are you still holding on to your integrity? Curse God and die!’ He replied, ‘You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?’”
(Job 2:9-10)
Not many people would tell someone to curse You and die, Jesus…
but neither do we accept trouble from You
as easily as we embrace the things we consider good.
Okay…
I’m evading the real issue.
As a matter of fact I wrestle with this, too.
Big time.
I love it when things go smoothly for me!
I repeatedly thank You for working things out for my good.
But I don’t have to tell You
You don’t hear that much praise from me
when things don’t go as I planned.
Who am I kidding?
Most of the time You don’t hear any.
The real question is:
Do I trust You
or not?
