Lazaroo – Wednesday, April 30, 2014
Apr 30, 2014 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with explosive feeling:
“…you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it.”
(Nehemiah 2:20)
That could be said of me, Jesus.
Who am I to claim Jerusalem as my own?
She doesn’t belong to me.
I belong to her.
Because of my faith in You alone
I’m allowed to enter that hallowed ground
not as a tourist
as family.
You haven’t given me that unspeakable privilege to keep others out
but to draw them in
knowing that one day this glorious, ancient city will pass away
and for all who believe
the New Jerusalem will become
home.
