You are from all eternity, Jesus.

Before there were human beings and animals
Before there were mountains and oceans
Before there was a heaven or an earth
Before there was a sun or a moon
Before wisdom was born

You Are.

You are the firstborn over all creation.

Everything was made by You and for You –

including everything in heaven and on earth, whether visible or invisible
including thrones, powers, rulers, authorities

and me.

You…made…me!

You are the one who decided there would be a

me.

You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
You chose the exact place where I would live.

And You chose the exact time when it was ideal for me to appear on earth:

now.
