Lazaroo – Wednesday, August 22, 2012
Aug 22, 2012 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deep contentment:
“It is a good land that the LORD our God is giving us.”
(Deuteronomy 1:25)
It always is, Jesus…
it always is.
Maybe not an easy land
nor a familiar land
it could be a dangerous land
a sleepy land
a strange land
a backward land
an inconvenient land
a deeply troubled land.
But if You’re giving it to me
it’s good.
For me.
It could be the worst possible land for somebody else.
They might be going on and on
about how much they dislike this land.
But what does that matter?
What is that to them?
You’re not giving them this land.
You’re giving it to me.
It’s mine.
And it’s good.
Of course, there’s that word “giving…”
meaning Your gift is still in process.
I have work to do
plans to lay
sections to clear
weeds to kill
things to build.
That’s still good.
Let’s go.
