On some days…

this is what I love about You most, Jesus.

You’re the God of the Second Chance.

Not only do You tell me once
You tell me again.

Of course, sometimes You have to tell me again

because I didn’t hear You the first time.

Sometimes You have to tell me again

because I didn’t understand what You meant.

Sometimes You have to tell me again

because I forgot.

But the reason that absolutely blows me away

is when You have to tell me again

because I flat-out disobeyed You the first time.

I hate that reason.

I especially hate that You’ve had to tell me again for that reason

more than once.

But I absolutely love this proof that You love me enough

To tell me again

and again

and again.
