Lazaroo – Wednesday, December 29, 2010
Dec 29, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in holy fear:
“Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of any man, for judgment belongs to God.”
(Deuteronomy 1:17)
I love this about You, Jesus!
You created every single one of us.
We’re Your kids.
Yes, You’re a proud Father when one of us does well –
after all, You’re the one who makes it possible!
But You’re not about to allow one of Your kids to pound his chest with pride
while another one hangs her head in disappointment.
You’re not about to stand idly by while one of Your stronger kids
pushes a weaker one around.
When one of us pulls a stunt like that, You put us on notice:
There will be consequences.
Nothing escapes Your attention.
Nothing.
You may give us time to repent…
but if we don’t –
payday…
is on its way.
