Lazaroo – Wednesday, February 24, 2010
Feb 24, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in stunned, eye-opening awareness:
“Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, ‘How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?’ It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time.”
(Nehemiah 2:6)
He was ready, wasn’t he, Jesus?
When the king asked him the question he was hoping for
Nehemiah wasn’t caught flat-footed
he had done his homework
his facts were lined up
the answer was on the tip of his tongue.
Could that be why You haven’t given me some of the big breaks I’ve watched You hand out to others?
Have I wasted too much time sitting back, waiting for an opportunity to present itself
instead of doing my homework
lining up my facts
and making sure the right answer would be on the tip of my tongue?
Rather than feeling jealous
maybe it’s time for me to get to work.
