Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with pedal-to-the-metal commitment:

“…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
(Acts 1:8)

That’s exactly who I long to be, Jesus:

Your witness to my family
Your witness to the people of my city

Your witness to my country
Your witness to every nation, tribe, people and language!

But before I can be a witness

I’ve got to see.

Open my eyes to what You’re doing

in the nations
in my country
in my city

in my church
among my friends and family

in me.

Open my mouth so I can

boldly
wisely
clearly
truthfully
effectively
respectfully
unashamedly

tell everyone I meet of Your love

Your sacrifice on the cross
Your resurrection

Your forgiveness of all who believe
the home You’ve prepared for us in heaven.

And open my heart to love them

with the love You’ve given me.
