Lazaroo – Wednesday, June 1, 2011

Jun 01, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with renewed faith:

“I set out during the night with a few men…There were no mounts with me except the one I was riding on.”
(Nehemiah 2:12)

O Jesus.

I can so identify.

Here comes Nehemiah, heading out under cover of night for his first glimpse at the magnitude of the job You’ve assigned to him…

and the first thing that smacks him in the face is –

“I think I’m under-resourced.”

Oh, he’s got some helpers and that’s great.
But they’ve got only one horse among them –

a little hard to make good time!

So here I come, taking a glimpse at the magnitude of the job You’ve assigned to me…

And the first thing that smacks me in the face is –

“I think I’m under-resourced.”

Until I hear Your voice rising up within me, Holy Spirit:

“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind.
Is anything too hard for me?”
