Lazaroo – Wednesday, November 24, 2010

Nov 24, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Determine to hang in there, as you pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud:

“Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”
(James 1:12)

I want that blessing, Jesus!

To receive the crown of life from Your hands
would be awesome.

But that will be then.

This is now.

Right now, it’s trial time.

You expect me to persevere.
You expect me to stand the test.

You expect a lot.

You expect more, in fact, than I can deliver.
I’m not that strong, not that smart
not that good.

You designed it this way, didn’t You?

You tell me to bite off more than I can chew.
You hand me assignments way bigger than I am.

You want me to discover firsthand

I’m not self-sufficient.
It doesn’t matter how hard I try.

I can’t do this

without You.
