Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with a heart ready to believe:

“I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah that will consume her fortresses…”
(Amos 1:14)

This must have seemed like an impossible promise, Jesus.

When Your people heard You intended to destroy the capital city of their dreaded enemy, the Ammonites

they must have shaken their heads in near disbelief, wondering

“How could this be?”

To them, it would have felt impossible.

But with You, all things are possible.

So why do I think like that, Father?

Why do I decide what I will or won’t attempt
based on what I think I can or cannot do?

Please God.

Transform the way I think!

Help me decide what I will or won’t attempt
based on what You lead me to do

through Your Word
by Your Spirit

as You speak to me through Your holy people
and this world You created.

For with You…

all things are possible.
