Pray this Lazaroo in solemn remembrance:

“Yet they would not listen to their judges…”
(Judges 2:17)

It’s not that they couldn’t hear You speaking to them through the judges You had so graciously provided, Jesus.

They refused to.

They knew it was Your word

but they didn’t like it, didn’t want it
rejected Your lordship over their lives

and paid the horrible price
that always accompanies disobedience.

I’ve paid that price in the past

only to learn the hard way:

No sin is worth it.
