You always fulfill Your promises, Jesus –

but in Your way and time.

When my schedule conflicts with Yours

I’m tempted to think it’s never going to happen.

When my way of doing it blinds me to Your superior plan

I can totally miss what You’re up to.

O God!

Help me rest in the certainty of Your promises
with eyes that see.
