“Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of a hundred and ten.”

What a long life You gave him, Jesus!

Joshua was a great man.

How many years will You give me?

I don’t know the answer to that question
but You do.

All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.

But the number of my days is not nearly so important

as what I do – in You –
with each one You’ve given me.
