So You promised through Your prophet Zechariah 2,539 years ago, Jesus

and You came.

You lived among us, taught us, worked miracles

loved us, died for us, rose from the dead
returned to Your throne in heaven.

But You promised to return.

Your promises are sure.
Your promises are trustworthy.
I live my entire life in the brightness of their hope..

Just as You came the first time

any day now…
