It’s brutal when people are kicked out of their homes, Jesus

exiled to a foreign land.

It’s especially tough when evil people are the ones who evict.

Your people can’t help but cry out to You in bewilderment:

“Dear God! Why did You let this happen?”

Actually…that’s not a bad question.

You have Your reasons. Always.

The sooner we find out

the sooner we can absorb the lesson

and move on.
