Be humbled…and filled with gratitude, as you pray this Lazaroo: 

“They are clouds without rain…”

I know some people like that, Jesus –

big promise
tiny result.

Even worse, I’ve been a cloud without rain too!

good intentions
unrealized

big plans
unfulfilled

high hopes
dashed.

So what’s the alternative?

I know, I know:

Under-promise
over-perform.

But sometimes I get carried away by the possibilities

and fail to account for the obstacles.

Maybe I’ve been hanging around You too much!

No matter how great Your promises to me

You’re always, always, always
better than advertised.
