Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones: 

“Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing.”
(Psalms 5:1)

David knew something I sometimes forget, Jesus:

You care how I feel.
Deeply.

When a painful sigh escapes my lips

You hear it.
You don’t ignore it.

You feel it with me.

Of course, You could dismiss my pain.
You know all the wonderful things You have in store for me.

But you also know
I don’t know.

You don’t gloss over my struggles, heartaches, fears

You heal them.

So I follow in David’s footsteps, LORD:

I ask You to heal me

in Your way
in Your time.
