Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with laser-focused intensity: 

“no longer as a slave…”
(Philemon 1:16)

There are countless ways to be enslaved, Jesus.

Some of them are obvious
but most of them are invisible.

Perhaps the worst kind of slavery
is the kind of which I’m unaware.

How can I escape from something
if I don’t know it has a hold on me?

Show me, LORD!

Where am I trapped, caged, shackled?

Don’t allow me to continue blithely stumbling along

believing I’m free
when I’m not.

Ignorance isn’t bliss.
It’s slavery.

Show me!

Then give me the wisdom, courage and power
to break free.
