Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in solemn gratitude: 

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses…”
(2 Timothy 2:2)

Witnesses are important, Jesus.

When I’m accused…

it’s wonderful to have a witness
on whom I can call in my defense.

But sometimes there are no witnesses.
Sometimes the witnesses don’t have the courage to speak up.
Sometimes the witnesses don’t see it the way I saw it.
Sometimes the witnesses flat-out lie.

What then?

You.

You are my Witness when all other witnesses fail to do what witnesses should.

And since You have the final, eternal say

that’s enough.
