Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with wholehearted adoration: 

“They were responsible for the care of the…table.”
(Numbers 3:31)

The table in Your sanctuary

had to be the most important
in the history of the world, Jesus –

until the table at which You reclined with Your disciples
at the Last Supper.

Equally important to me personally
is the table from which I’m fed Your Word:

my church.

May I choose wisely

ensuring that the words I take in

are in perfect harmony with those
commanded to be spoken in Your sanctuary

and with those that came from your mouth
on that fateful night when You gave Yourself for me

on the cross.
