Ask God to increase your love for others, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo: 

“The friends here send their greetings.”
(3 John 1:14)

A phrase like that can be a throwaway, Jesus –

nothing more than a way to end a letter
finish a conversation.

We say things like that all the time:

“Have a good day”
Take it easy”
“See you later”
“Take care”

without really thinking about what we’re saying.

But this is Your Word.
This is Your Apostle John talking.
This is You speaking through him

to me.

John was creating a bond between two groups of people in his life

Help me be that kind of person today
and every day.
