You’re the one who gave us the gift of music –

the ability to hear several dozen frequencies of sound
and experience them together as a single tune.

Depending on the notes, words, rhythm, instruments and voices, Your gift of music can

give us hope
put us in a romantic mood
soothe our emotions
make us want to dance
flood us with nostalgia
fill us with joy

But when music attains its highest purpose

it inspires me to worship

You.
